I'm having a go at covering for the first time. The part is an aluminium aileron - alodined skin leading edge. As the manual states - I applied thinned randoproof and when dry new super seam, working it into the fabric (101) along a section of the leading edge.
However I noticed it very difficult to get the fabric to want to stick down and once dry it peeled off very easily, some glue ( or randoproof ) remained on the skin and I was able to peel it off in sheets. Any ideas what's wrong ?
