I have the plan number 0272, of the MA-5. Can anyone fill me in on the significance and if there is any way to discover their original owner? Who ever welded this fuse. is a master with a tourch. Straight and true. I understand Mr. Marquart jigged up a few of these early fuses himself...
Any way, I have a question about compression tubes. The plan shows two holes drilled in one side of each outer tube assembly, with no holes in the inner tubes. I have yet to figure out how the plan wants us to fix this 'tube in tube' arrangement from, well, compressing? Plug weld?
Any clues would be appreciated.
