    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

For those of you out there that have already completed your 'bolt or those that have already completed any particular phase of construction...

Do any of you have estimated times of building any major component ?
Say... the fuselage. the Wings.

The Skybolt takes, what, approx. 3500 to build. What are we saving, time wise,if we purchase a welded up fuselage for instance? etc...

I know that based on the builders experience/capabilities it will vary.

Just wanted to get a "feel" for it.

thanks
