• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Strange question but, if you were the owner of a flight helmet what type of flight bag would you like to carry it in?

Ahard case such as those blow molded from EVA foam. You often see them for smaller items such as headphones (Lightspeed Zulu headset springs to mind) and some motorcycle helmets. Would you think this may be too big?

Soft bag in the more traditional sense, like standard military flight helmet bags.

What do you tend to carry in your helmet bag/ headset bag.

What would be on the wish list for a helmet bag?

Even if you dont have or never intend to wear a helmetI would like opinions on this, go nuts with comments.

The reason I ask this is that I am developing a new type of flight helmet and would like to also develop or adapt a helmet bag that is a little more than just a helmet bag to go with things.

Just wanted a bit of group feedback here.
