I have been asked to help sell this Miniplane built by Don & Ann Pellegreno. I didn't think much about it 30 years ago when I saw a frame sitting in the back of a hangar at an airport I was parking my Cessna 150 at. I heard stories of it terrorizing the countryside and heard it had been in a few magazines. It was parked after a crack was found in the crankshaft of the O-290-G, the plane was completely disassembled for recover and restoration, there it sat. 10 years later one of the local airport regulars bought it, recovered it, rebuilt the engine, then realized during taxi tests it was more demanding than his ability, he parked it in the corner of his hangar. He passed away and the plane passed thru a couple hands and was disassembled to move to another airport. It was never reassembled and that is the current status. $5500 is the selling price.
There are photos and stories on the web about this plane and stories of the builders. I know it hasn't flow in 30 years but it looks like it just needs to be re-assembled and flown. It has a current registration, airworthiness certificate and operating limitations.
Photos to follow when I get the dust cleaned off.
