    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Here are some detail pix of Sean D. Tucker's new Pitts. It has some neat features.

This is my grandson with Sean D. Tucker's new Pitts. If you look closely, you can see the split ailerons.

At Sun N Fun last year, Sean bailed out of his Pitts due to a ball joint failure in his elevator linkage. Sean's chief mechanic, Clyde, told me only to use Fafnir balljoints in my plane. They installed plexiglass view ports at every balljoint connection on this plane. This is the linkage at the elevator spar.

This is the business end of the split ailerons. They are set up with a differential bellcrank so that the inboard ailerons don't throw as far as the outboard.
