This is a great opportunity for someone to get a head start on owning and flying a Baby Great Lakes Bi-plane. As the photos show, the wings and fuselage are constructed and covered, and an engine mounted. Some of the items left to do include, aileron linkages, strut braces and wires, wiring and engine completion.
This is not a Basic or Advanced Ultralight. Here in Canada it is classified as an Amateur-Built Aircraft.
The Baby Great Lakes (one place) aircraft is a well proven design which is easy to construct and fly, provide classic good looks, and is aerobatic. Construction is of wood and steel tubing. Aircraft Spruce Canada acquired all rights to these designs in May 1996 and now offers packs, plans, raw materials kits, and pre-fabricated kits for these fine aircraft.

• Displacement: 1,781 cc
• Bore: 92 mm
• Stroke: 67 mm
• Compression Ratio: 8.7:1
• Valvetrain: OHV Pushrod
• Horsepower: 73 bhp (54 kW; 74 PS) at 4,800 rpm
• Torque: 94 lb•ft (127 N•m) at 2,400 rpm
•
Instruments are not included in the asking price. They are sold separately.
