• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Wolf Cowl for Eagle - OK Eagle fans, Chris Murley of Griggs Aircraft (http://www.griggsaircraft.com/wolf_products) the heir to the Wolf throne, has agreed to make a CF Wolf Cowl for the Eagle if we can get three buyers. Cost is $4500. Its a Carbon Fiber Cowl, would look very similar to Sean Tucker or Skip Stewarts Cowl. Roughly 20 pounds lighter, easy on/off, much less drag and better cooling. I have no hard numbers because....there's not a Wolf Cowl for the Eagle yet! Pitts drivers who have converted have reported 10 -12 mph faster cruise, folks that is HUGE! Also much lower CHT's and oil temps. I'll take an extra 10 mph cruise anyday! I'm in so we only need two more, my bird would be in his shop and having all the fitting done. Lets do it, single biggest improvement you can make to your Eagle!
