Drag/AntiDrag Wires 1050 steel?

Hey guys,
I am stuck on a little gem here. My EAA Bipe plans call out for 9/64" dia. 1050 carbon steel rod for my wires but I am having a tough time locating this material for some reason. Anyone have a source beside Bruntons stainless?
