• The Biplane Forum is a large global active community of biplane builders, owners and pilots. From Pitts to Skybolts, to older barnstormers, all types are welcome. In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.

The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web. We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction). Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Here is a screenshot of my first concept model for an instrument panel for my Timber Tiger ST-L.

I'm looking for feedback here....

Mission: VFR - Cross Country and Local Flying

Avionics: Dynon Skyview Touch with new Dynon (Trig) Comm, knobs panel, autopilot panel (2 axis), and a PS Engineering PS1200 high noise environment intercom. Shown is a new intercom bezel which I modeled to aesthetically match the other components.

Switches: (not in any particular order at this time, but looking for suggestions)
Master
Mags (2 switches, OFF-ON-(ON) spring loaded both to engage starter)
Fuel Pump
Avionics
Nav Lights
Anti-collision Lights
Landing/Taxi OFF-ON-ON (wing wag)

Breakers: I haven't planned breaker use yet.

Other: The two areas above the side panels will have an art-deco decorative element. N number will be top center on the panel. All switches and breakers will be appropriately labeled.
